Sprinkles series for UKG comprises four interdependent and inter-related curriculum areas-English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS) and Art. This semester-wise integrated course follows a developmental approach, and is based on the premise that physical, social, emotional and cognitive domains of development are closely related. Development in one domain is influenced by the development in other domains. Inspired by this and in accordance with National Education Policy 2020, the Sprinkles series is designed to nurture the curiosity and creativity of children in relation to natural, cultural and social environments. The book equips learners with 21st Century Skills sets, which are incorporated in the lessons with the aim to lay foundation of life-long learning.
Children are curious, creative and intelligent beings. The books are designed with the objective of facilitating them in learning, practicing and reinforcing the
concepts at different levels.
