This book is a successful attempt to present the latest syllabus developed for the students of higher secondary level in a holistic form. In present times, as soon as a student enters intermediate, he sets his goal. This book has been written with this objective in mind. The technical and scientific terminology used in the book has been taken from the 'Dictionary certified by the Education Department of the Government of India', and the related English words have also been given at appropriate places. The subject matter has been described on the basis of modern facts.

In each chapter of the book, sufficient number of short answer and long answer questions have been given; along with this, questions and answers of NCERT have also been given. Subject related objective questions have been additionally included for various competitive examinations.
