The presented book 'Modern ABC of Physics' has been written for the students of class XII as per the latest syllabus of the Higher Secondary Course of Bihar Board of Secondary Education.

The main principle of pedagogy 'from simple to difficult' has been followed in the book. Keeping in mind the difficulties of the students, every effort has been made to make the subject matter simple, understandable and interesting and for this, suitable pictures, numerous examples of daily life, inferential examples and balanced sufficient subject matter have been included in a modern way in simple, easy and colloquial language. The technical and scientific terminology used in the book has been taken from the 'Dictionary certified by the Education Department of the Government of India' and the relevant English words have also been given at appropriate places. The subject matter has been described on the basis of modern facts.

In each chapter, the method of solving numerical questions has been explained by sufficient number of numerical examples and sufficient number of practice questions have been included at the end of the chapter. Subject related objective and multiple choice questions have been additionally included for various competitive exams. Questions from NCERT textbooks (with solutions) are included in every chapter.
